HMV next big thingy booo...

Dale Earnhardt Jr. Jr. are a funny little duo. Pretty unspecific in genre these two wacky homosapians sound like they just stepped out of late 70's 80's pop. They were gigging at the HMV next big thing at Barfly on Sunday night, and managed to pull in a respectable crowd. They moved swiftly from indie, to pop and rock with ease

These patriotic Yanks from Detroit (put your hands up) have more energy than Pete from Big bro on speed and whizz poppers. A great 101%. Coming out in short sleeved shirts and dicky bow ties, the duo looked just like 1960’s bell boys.   The hairy main vocalist can also do a good impression of jesus should this all fail. A brill catchy beattlesque indie tune Simple girls , (simple pleasures) was the bands first song, and to my ear, the best. Da da da. Teenage dream. Bound for big things, they are supporting Band of skulls tonight.
